Search flying is tiring, demanding work which requires careful teamwork if it is to be done effectively. Most Search flying is done at a 1000' altitude and 70- 80 knots, presenting a picture like the one above. The circle shows the location of a missing aircraft from a recent mission. Tremendous concentration is required!
The picture above is of the same aircraft from 200'.
A telephoto lens was used.
